Getting Started

Logging In

Once you've received the username and password from the NMSU Grants library, you can log in to the app at this link. Once you're logged in, clicking "Launch Rosetta Stone Foundations" will take you to the Navajo course.

Starting Your First Lesson

Simply click on the first activity to begin learning. This course works best with a microphone, so you can practice repeating the words and phrases yourself - you can reserve the computer w/microphone in the library's private Media Room if you'd like. We recommend taking each lesson in order, but you're also free to jump around to any lesson in the course if you're already a little familiar with Navajo.

Recording Your Progress

This is a shared account. This means the app's built-in progress tracker will be reset for every new person who uses it. So if you want to keep track of your progress, remember to write down which lessons you've completed in a personal notebook, so you'll know where to continue next time you log in if the progress tracker has been reset. Feel free to reset the progress tracker yourself by selecting the "restart this activity" option if you're starting a lesson for the first time.

Rules

This is a shared account owned by the NMSU Grants Library. All students who use our subscription to Rosetta Stone must agree not to share the login information publicly, and not to attempt to change the account settings (including the username, nickname, and password).

If there are any questions or issues you are encountering with the course, please contact the library describing your problem so we can get it fixed for you. You may visit us in person, email us (peterk@nmsu.edu, spena15@nmsu.edu), or call us at 505-287-6638.
