Using Primo: Home

What is Primo?

The NMSU-Grants Library has implemented a powerful new tool for research discovery.

 

Primo is a single search tool to find books, eBooks, articles, journals, video and more. 

When searching in Primo you are searching:

  • Books, DVDs, journals and other physical items found in the Library
  • Most of the library's online journal articles and newspaper content
  • The NMSU-Grants Library Special Collections and Digital Archives

What else can I do with Primo?

  • Renew materials you checked out, use My Account.
  • Create and save lists, save to My Research.
  • Order books from other libraries in the NMSU system

Primo's Search Scope

What am I searching?

  • Everything - This is the broadest search. Find books, e-books, journals, DVDs and more in libraries at all NMSU campuses, as well as online articles to which the Grants Campus library subscribes.
  • Books + Articles (Grants Campus) - Find books and more at the Grants Campus library, as well as online articles to which the Grants library subscribes.
  • Books (Grants Campus) - Find books and more at the Grants Campus library.
  • Books (All NMSU Campuses) - Find books and more in libraries at all NMSU campuses.
  • Articles - Find online articles to which the Grants Campus library subscribes.
